hi everyone,,, i hope you r all fine,, anyway i just wanted to inform you guys that now it is really not easy to get training post in uk as a junior doctor unless you have EU nationality and hold a medical degree from EU medical school,, i am in uk working as JHO near london \\I waited for 1 year before i get the job\\and to be honest with u if i did not have my medical degree from an EU country and i did 1t hold a nationality of EU country i would`v left UK ages ago because i know how things are going here,,i think now USA is the best plase for u guys to try ,but you must get a high score in the Exam to get the speciality you desire.. all the best to you all and to Shankool i say it is really better if you try the USA ,, believe me it is a waste of time coming to uk as an oversea doctor? GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL

every once and awhile ,people like you come to this website and give us this great advice about UK..........we know all this dear!...keep the hard work and enjoy your EU nationality ( from where are you?)...and your medical degree ( what's the name of your medical school by the way).....

I'll say this once for all the people reading these kinda sick advices...............

if you want to specialize in any place in the world, go for it. you may not reach your goals, which is bad, but the worst is that you believe this Bullshit of people you don't know.

note: I've been told that two students from aleppo faculty of medicine who went to UK, and got positions right there since the new ambiguous law came into play ..............

dr EU nationality ( former syrian); why don't give us some case files from your speciality instead of giving us the great advices you love to give?

There are a number of facts I want the so called Keane to know about me and about my last post
I am Syrian, Was, will be, die as Syrian, and proud to be Syrian regardless the other nationality I hold
Not you nor anyone else have the right to doubt or judge my patriotism, I love Syria exactly the same if not more than u do!!
I was trying to give a piece of advice to my fellow citizen doctors about the conditions in UK. And if you think I was bluffing please be my guest and ask about it or come to UK and try it yourself ((the speech is directed to the so called keane))
And about the Doctors from Aleppo University obviously the so called Keane have no idea about the new rules at all does he? The New Immigration Rules do not only say that EU doctors have the priority in the medical posts they also indicate that it is illegal for any hospital in UK to appoint any Non EU doctor in case there is a suitable EU candidate applying for the same post..
I was trying to explain how things are happening here in UK nothing more nothing less, and by the way I get really happy when I meet any Syrian doctor working in UK, in fact most of my friends in UK are Syrian doctors. And i can not actually be in a friendship or trust any one in UK if he is not syrian.. So I really do not understand why the so called Keane enjoyed us with his useless meaningless Contribution .

61 years old male usually fit and well was presented with Headache, dizziness, mild neck stiffness, Fatigue
Blood test showed Increased inflammatory markers CRP 234, WCC 23, Neutro 21,6, ESR 49, deranged LFT`s, CSF Norm, Blood culture Norm, , Virology screen negative, CT /MRI brain, Thorax, abdo Norm, US abdo Norm, biopsy liver normal, Echo heart mild L aerial enlargement but otherwise normal. Patient well responded to Abx IV and 40 mg Steroid P.O.
In 3 days inflammatory markers down,
Diagnosis????

first of all....I'm sorry if you are offended by my reply, but it was necessary cuz I see alot of doctors in this forum( previously) and other forums whogive depressing advices like the one you generously give( we know that from along time, it's there in the forum everywhere...check it out), and people in syria are more knowledgeable about this stuff, even more than you think. so we have the informations about going out to anywhere, what we miss is the encouragement.
