It is 900 pages and has many good pictures and diagrams. The index is very good as well. For a quick reference when there is not extensive time to research a topic, as well as for a straight read, this book is solid a medical student, I thought this book covered everything you would ever want to know about the emergency medicine clinic and beyond. Great information that applies some of the most recent medical research to the world of clinical medicine. Very up to date.
