well...as i said i'm not ASSYRIAN, I'm syrian, even though one came from another or whatever blablabla , it's kinda historical stuff, but the languages differ in this case, Assyrians speak a different language from my people
anyways.. it's not salam neither shalam in syrian, it's SHLOMO .... and yes assyrian live in the north east of syria( aljazeera) the most, and offcourse Iraq, the same thing for syrian orthothox, but their numbers decline as the years goes..you know the immigration thing...

little notes: ASSYRIANS considered as catholic but SYRIAN u can find both catholic or orthothox.and i repeat it's
is complicated issue when we mix the religon and historical origin in this case
